LANCE

Intro: Every person in life has a special something about them. Some can run, some can invent, and others can soar. There are those also who have a unique ability. The power to control a lance! You, who have until recently spent your life wandering, or maybe even found a place to go. You, are special. You, are different than others, and you, alone can decide how to use this power.

Explanation: Allow me first to explain what is exactly going on here. I, am Argo Arrillathos. You, have just been transported here via pocket spark. I’ll explain later. No doubt you were probablly just walking down the street when this strange incident occured. But, I assure you there is a reason for me picking you up. Very soon you, like many others, will begin to develope a type of energy know as a lance. Don’t be alarmed, *chuckles* this doesn’t mean it’s a weapon and you will have to fight, oh no. It’s a technical term. A lance is just a build in energy that allows it’s wearer unique abilities depending on heritage and personnality. At first, all you will only be able to generate something like this (gray colored energy builds up in his hand). This is the first stasis. It is know as a spark. Depending on how you intend to use your spark it will appear in a different place on your body. But, once you’ve set a goal, and a foci point you can’t undo it. So choose wisely what you wish to accomplish with this power, for it will follow you forever. There are other stasis’s, or levels if you prefer, of your lance. For example (the spark extends beyond his hand and forms a shape similar to an energy blade attached at the wrist) stasis two. To achieve each new stasis you must use your lance as often as you can. Each new level is harder to obtain than the one before. But the rewards are so great. For you see, some abilities may be beyond your current stasis. To be able to do what you want you must first achieve that next level. The intresting thing is that abilities depend on you. They can only be limited by stasis and the imagination. This is an amazing opportunity. Even if you wish to just live out a normal existence your lance will help.

Skills: (you get any five normal human skills you can think of. Every skill has levels to it as well. Novice, beginner, normal, expert, and master)
Foci Point: (this is the point on your body where you draw energy and form stasis’s. It should correspond with what you plan on doing with this new power. Ex: fighter: hand, Ex: Illusionist: eyes, acrobat: legs)

Element: (choose ONE, element. opposing elements are grouped together)

Stasis and Abilities: (each level of stasis has a number of abilities equal to it’s level. Ex: stasis 1: 1 ability, stasis 2: 2 abilities, stasis 3: 3 abilities, etc. A stasis can only perform abilities equal to or < it’s level. Ex: stasis three can use any lv 1, 2, or 3 abilities, not 4 or <. You choose the abilities within reason. namely not overpowered for the stasis lv and corresponding to your foci point. Finally, add a description of what ecah lv looks like. Note: stasis one is always just a loose gathering of energy.)

Explore the castle we’re in. Train and work on this new power. Or work for me here and reap the rewards. If nothing else look at the faces around you now and those that came before (gestures to a number of statues lining the outskirts of the hall) each has their own story to tell (a plack is at the base of each statue, these are the npc’s of the game and the placks give the same info everyone just wrote down.). These people will help you on your way wherever you may go. For they are like you, a unique breed. (stop, and sits back in his chair motionless.)
