Kratos · Chapter 1

"Well well well, where the fuck am i?" As Makato looks around to only see a grand palace full of statues.

Ixchillvalle

"greetings" Up on a slightly decorated throne sits a fair sized man. He appears to be of good build and in his thirties. "and welcome to th gathering hall."

Kratos

"Oh this is a joke, Yeah good one nazume." He looks at the man then around to find what couldnt be found. "It is not real, i was traing with my master and this? Ah, come on guys knock it off"

Kratos · Chapter I: Meeting

"Hold on, i know you from somewhere"

Ixchillvalle

"this is no trick, no dream. The truth is I'm the only one here and we've never met. Now then. please be silent for a moment. there is much to explain." Begins similar speech to that found in the intro.

Kratos

"Oh thats right, I saw you at the mall, wait cant be, the mall was deserted. I want believe this!" he says as he walks away

Ixchillvalle

*argo traces his finger in the air and paralyzes makato. he then turns him around and brings him forward.* (If he's aware makato will see that argo's right hand is pulsating and covered in ruins.) (talking calmly) "plz stay, calm yourself. If you storm off into the castle you may get lost. Not even I know all the rooms this place holds. Nor all the dangers it may posses" *releases makato*

Kratos

"Dont touch me! Ok lets say i went along with this for a little while. What am i here for?"

Ixchillvalle

Hehe. you are here to learn the truth about what you are so you don't go off like a loose cannon an kill everyone. *smiles* and if you still need proof if what I'm saying is real, think about what I just did.

Kratos

"Becasue you have a power and..." As Makato's body rages with red energy his fists seem to get all the power "Ok tahts a cheap..." Then he falls into a deep sleep. "Where am i? What is this place?" He then realizes it is his mind. "What is this power?" His fists start to grow stronger by the minute with red energy. "Ok now im freaked, I BELIEVE YOU OK!!!" He yells into the air.

Ixchillvalle

*a calming affect soothes over Makato* "now, now, the power you have is most interesting, but you need to control it. I can help if you wish."

Kratos

"Power?" Says Makato starily evily "I will respect this wish of the demon lords. HEHEHEHEH" He then plunges to the ground "Whoa what just happened?"

Ixchillvalle

>hmmmmmm, somethings not right here, he may be part of the demon faction, but why would they influence his will inside the castle. I can't cast him out. that would be far too rude. hmmm. I'll probably regret this but I'll train him. Hopefully I can dismiss their control over him.< "Very well then, lets start be first shuting your mind to such thoughts while in my sanctuary. then we can move on with producing and harnessing your lance."

Kratos

"what thoughts" As Makato looks confusingly at the man. "Why do i feel like a strange force has entered my body?"

Ixchillvalle

> now then, purification symbol< *draws shape in the air and places hand on Makato's head. >that should stop it for now. "you must be hungry, the kitch is down there *gestures to one of the many paths leading out of the hall* "It's at the end of the hallway. don't open anyother doors. we should be getting some more company very soon."

Kratos

"Why cant i open the other doors, and you still never explained yourself to me, Why am i here? What is my Purpose..." Makato gets stif for only a moment, "Leave this wortheless fool, come join me in my quest for world dominance, and you, you bastard, ill kill y..." Makato Gets unstifened. "So first i wanna know everyhting then ill go eat or im outta here" Says makato not knowing what just happened to his body.

"I'll explain it again then" explains everything "and there you have it." >Activate stasis 5, thoughpicker rune< >to demon:stay out of this boy or i'll gouge you eyes out with those pointy little horns of yours<

Kratos

"... ... ... ..." Using that rune made makato uncoinsous. "Ha he thinks he can stop me, what a foolish mortal" The beast says to himself so that no one hears him.

Ixchillvalle

"now then. hurry onto the kitchen. I'll be down shortly after I take care of some business." >I don't know how a damned demon got past the castle walls but it won't be around for much longer.< *starts walking up steps.*

Kratos

"uh that was wierd, what was that freak talking about? rune? demon? Oh im just straving" As makato grabs some eggs he starts to make himself an omlet a strange voice comes nito the room, "[i]Makato it is your destiny fight off this beast and save the world form this irony[/i]"
"Ok now im completely confused and freaked. But frist an omelete" He cracks some eggs and starts to flip it. "Ah im starving" He puts toast in teh toaster and butters it when it is done "bacon!" He goes into the fridge to get some bacon "Ah the best meat there is"

After his meal he goes to his quarters and lays down, but cant sleep "what were they talking about? Dman i wish i had a clue" He just falls asleep without anycare

(up in the observatory argo looms over his sphere) >now to bolster the defenses< "THE EIGHTH STASIS" *everything goes black and the castle rumbles.*

Kratos

Makato wakes form his sleep, "Whoa what was that? Are we under attack?" He runs up to the observatory to warn Argo. "Hey we are under... waht is that your doing?" he says as he backs away

Ixchillvalle

*argo is back to normal* " no worries. to be frank with you a demon was apparrently possessing you slightly. He must've infiltrated right before I picked you up. He must've come under the castles defences. it would explain why he was able to resist my purges. however, no worries now. I did sweep of the sanctuary so as to uproot any intruders."
"there's no need to worry. we should start your training soon" >I need to make this child stronger so that he can resist simple mind influences.< "Meet me down in the training hall in 30 minutes. It's down the stairs and behind the main seat in the gathering hall" *starts to walk away* "oh, and by the way. word of caution. don't just go running around in the castle without an escort or exact directions. You were lucky you didn't get lost."

Ixchillvalle

*up from behind makato appears what seems to be a bunch of floating runes.* (best way to describe is that it looks similar to an elemental for ff10) "greetings" says the wispy voice "I'm noruzu, and master argo has ased me to be your guide throughout the castle while he's away."

Kratos

"Hi, i guess. Im makato. I really dont get this world. but if you can show me. ill try to understand."

Ixchillvalle

"don't worry. you will understand in time. the only reason you haven't gotten a full explaination is because the master is expecting many more people, likr yourself to awaken. In the past, there have been on average 1 every 200-300 years."

Kratos

"so im the special one? what 'power' do i have?"

Ixchillvalle

" now, now. don't get too full of yourself. there will be plenty more wielders joining us soon. As for your powers that's why were heading down to the training room."

Kratos

what are we training? I no a lot of martial arts"

Ixchillvalle

"hehe, this will be a bit different from physical training." *starts to lead makato to the training area* "you see, most people can train the mind and bidy with relative easy. what we'll be working on is your essence, or spirit as some call it.

Kratos

"Spirit? I thought freaks do that stuff and other people believe them like some magicians. I like seeing it... Oh im getting off subject, well the rooms empty, we going to train with any weapon or somthing?" makato says as he looks all around the room.

Ixchillvalle

"first we must determine your element. Then we can move on to discerning your foci point. Finally, we'll find the emotion that drives you the most. to do this you need to only answer three questions."
"1. when you think of your person what type or color possibly comes to mind.
2. what part of your body is most important to you.
3. what emotions fills you with the mostenthusiasm. gives you the greatest pleasure."

Kratos

"umm i think of the color red, uhhh, my fists becasue they bring home the groceries to my wife and kid, the last, i dont know id have to say fighting with my wife at ringside"

Ixchillvalle

"hmm, that sounds incredibly similar to fire. your foci point should be your hands, and your driving emotion would be rage. this means that the angrier you get the easier your abilities will come to you. The truth is any emotion can be a driving force, but anger is fires best friend. any other emotion would take years to work with. so lets concentrate on that rage of your's shall we. once you get a lance for the first time it should come naturally. now then, picture a moment when you have been enraged. you don't have to say it out loud, just picture it. once you have the memory slowly push it away, but keep the anger."

Kratos

He thinks about that time he lost to his sensei. "Ahhhhh Ahhhhhh Ahhhhh"
he screams into the air getting louder and louder "Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh!! AHHHHH!!!" He then gets surrounded my a fire.

Ixchillvalle

*sigh* Watch yourself. If you try to concentrate that much energy to a foci you'll disentegrate part of your body. Don't let your emotion control you. The rage you feel can at sometimes be overwhelming but you must always be able to keep it in check.

Kratos

He then lowers the fire by a lot making it almost not visible "Is this good?"

Ixchillvalle

Excellent. If energy is too high to begin with around your body your stasis wont hold it. The truth is that the level of power doesn't have to deal with a new stasis, it's the control over that power. Now that you have a decent amount of control over the emotion extend the feeling to your hands. Don't rush it there at first, slowly flow it.

Caseda Val'rose

Cvar was dreaming. It was the some plague on his mind that had been bothering him for ages. When he awoke he was in a strange place. But he had Teala, and for that he was greatful.

He stood up, and looked around the strange room.

Greetings, and welcome to my humble aboad.

Caseda Val'rose

"My name is Cvar, who are you?"

He put one hand on Teala.

Ixchillvalle

I am Argo. And I'm here to help you. Please stay a moment and listen to my tale. *begins to talk about lances and those that weild them*

Caseda Val'rose

"hmm...my dad mentioned something like that to me, before he...disappeared."

Cvar looked into Argo's eyes.

"And what to you mean by help? I find help usually entails to control."

Kratos

"Ok then If it becomes too much, then it will possibly destroy me?" Makato walked around the room trying to find something but nothing at the same time, you could say he was thinking.

[i]Bang![/i]

"What the hell was that? It was probably Argo" Makato runs up the stairs and finally finds him leaving his trainer alone downstairs, "Well well, i see you managed to drag another in. Hey Im Makato, who are you?" *Holds out hand in a handshake kinda manner*

Caseda Val'rose

"I'm Cvar."

He grudgingly shook his hand. As he did so, he sized him up.

<Big guy, but seems to overconfident, wouldn't be much trouble for me.>

Kratos

"Oh, nice to see you" He swings his leg for a powerful kick to see something
>I wonder if he will miss?<

Caseda Val'rose

Seeing the attack, Cvar quickly blocks with his hand, and draws Teala with the other.

"Another move and I put your head on my wall."

Kratos

"Wow you blocked my attack, ok youve passed my test, your now my friend, and you cant get out of my friendship bond you hear?"
*Looks with evil eyes*

(OOC: read Kratos Vs. Ix its funny.)

Caseda Val'rose

"hmmm, don't do that again."

Kratos

"I do what i want" He storms out of the room, and then comes right back in "And welcome to this place, whatever it is"

Ixchillvalle

*sigh* You'll have to excuse the boy. He seems to have a lot of unresolved issues. As for you however. You are far different. Your potential could be one of the greatest I've seen. However you need training. I'd suggest starting by going to the training room and learning how to produce the first stasis. *a noruzu appears* Please take this man whever he wishs to go throughout the castle within the boundaries I have lain. (to Cvar) You may go whereevr you want. This apperition shall be your guide to through the halls of my castle. He shall answer any questions you may. *Argo gets up to leave*

Caseda Val'rose

Cvar looks at the glowing things.

"Bring me to the training room."

And off he went.

Ixchillvalle

Here you are. Now then to obtain the first stasis (goes through the same explaination as kratos) After that we'll begin.

Kratos

"Hey dont forget me!!" As he runs after them he spots a strange looking statue that reminds him of something. "Hey Argo come here" He yells

Ixchillvalle

Yes? What is it. And I'd prefer if you could ask rather than order me to do things in my own house. *raises an eyebrow*

Kratos

"Sorry, but hey who is this?"

Ixchillvalle

"This is Cvar. Like you, he is also a new and upcoming lance wielder."

Caseda Val'rose

"We already met, remember, or are you as intelligent as you are strong."

Kratos

"Cvar?" He thinks about it for a minute "I remember reading about him somewhere."

Ixchillvalle

"You just met him but a few moments ago in the hall." >Not the sharpest tool in the shed<

Kratos

"No the guy in the statue retard!"

Ixchillvalle

"Excuse me? You just said Cvar. He does not yet have a statue." >This kid is starting to get on my nerves.<

Kratos

(OOC: Dude i mean that he sees an f***ing statue that reminds him of something)

"Ahh, that would be Zozu." breathed Argo as he ran a hand along the statue. "Third weilder of the LAnce. Master of shadows."

Kratos

"Were you and him close or something? Hey where did that new guy go?" He says looking at the statue then at Argo.

Ixchillvalle

"I beliee Cvar went off to do some more training. And in a matter of speaking, yes. Me and Zozu were, close."

Kratos

"Soooo? Were you guys like fightin buddies or somethin?" He looked around the room at the walls and everything and saw a couple of pictures, they didnt look very artistically drawn so he looked away in disgust. "Yeah so i was just wondering when we were going to be doing anything like fighting people or you know?"

Ixchillvalle

Argo had to laugh a little bit. "Your perfectly free to fight whatever or whomever you like. Just ask your guide to take you to them."

Kratos

'One question though!" He said turning to Argo in happiness "who is my guide?"

Ixchillvalle

"The noruzu who I sent with you of course."

Kratos

"Ok, ill be back i guess!" He says looking for this noruzu.

Ixchillvalle

"i've been with you the whole time. Now what is it you're looking for?"

Kratos

"Oh, hah, didnt even see you. Umm, lets go kick some ass! Or do something helpful to the world. I dont know" He says walking towards norozu.

Ixchillvalle

The noruzu floated there for a moment. "What exactly are you looking for?" it asked in it's wispy voice.

Kratos

"Well i want to fight. Come on please!!! Whats the point in just wasting our time here if nothing is going to happen!" He says pacing back and forth.

Ixchillvalle

"Well, what exactly did you have in mind? There are plenty of opportunities for battle." said the guide.

Kratos

"Well i kinda want to do good for the world i guess"

Ixchillvalle

"Well, there is always trouble going on in the human world. If you're looking to help people, we could go there."

Kratos

"sure lets go!" he said "where would you like to go first, i personally dont mind"

Ixchillvalle

"I have no preference. I am only a guid througout this castle. Once you leave, I will return to his energy pool. If you want to go to earth, just stand in the hall's center and shout you're destination. To get back here, simple shout. 'To The Gray Keep'. And that's all there is to it."

Kratos

"ok ill be back!" he says walking to the center shouting "DOWNTOWN" He was suddenely warped to downtown somehwere in a desertede area. He loked around for some people but didnt find anyone. As he looked he came upon some strange man in an overcoat. "Oh this might be the break i need, just ask this guy for advice to where the trouble might be and im there." He said loudly to himself. the man in the overcoat looked at him overhearing him.
"What are you doing here?" said the man
"Umm yes i was wondering..." he said interupted suddenly
"Shut up i know why your here, ive seen you before" he said
"And where exactly?"
"Well you see here" he said taking out an orb "This is your life" he said pointing to a red dot
"That looks like my..." >Crap i cant say that around these folks<
"Yes your Lance"
"Wha..."
"Folow me" he said leading the way.
"where are we going?" He said walking with the man
"Just go!"
"Ok ok ok"
"Now i must give you this" he said looking at a trunk and then unlocking it taking out a red tube
"Its your dads"
"and?" Makato said taking the tube
"Hes dead"
"What? I plaed catch with him a few days ago until i was sucked into all this"
"Yes he died of an attack from the RUSSAKS"
"who are they?
"A clan made to destroy you Lance wielders"
"But they killed my dad, he doesnt own one"
"No i mean he is targeting your family of lance wielders."
"So, what do they look like?"
"They are just black gasses that come in and take your soul form the inside but you dont know it"
"Ummm, i never asked for this"
"yes but your dad passed it on"
"Ok so why do i need this tube again?"
"drink it"
"Ok" He said pouring the liquid into his mouth. he suddenly gets down on his knees in pain, He then turns a red color like when he started his training back at the castle
"So how does it feel?"
"It feels...it feels... i dont know like when i first awakened i guess"
"well you better get back"
"yeah your right, how long has it been?"
"3 hours"
"really?"
"yes time here is completely different here then there."
"ok so ill get back to the... wait how did you know about the..."
"i told you, i know everything about you."
"ok bye then"
He stands up and shouts "To The Gray Keep" And he was suddenly warped back to the center where he dissapeared from.
